Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, March 21, through Wednesday, March 27.

Wednesday, March 20

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where a motorist attempting to exit a private driveway struck a fire hydrant causing damage to the hydrant and surrounding property.

Thursday, March 21

*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills Boulevard and Fayette Driver where a non-injury rear end traffic collision was reported. No vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to Almont Drive and Palisades Boulevard where it was reported that an unknown vehicle struck an unoccupied legally parked vehicle, then fled the area.

Friday, March 22

*A resident of the 16000 block of El Lago Blvd. reported that a known subject forged a document in an attempt to gain property from the victim.

Saturday, March 23

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that a known subject shoplifted items from a business. Charges were submitted against the subject.

*Deputies responded to Shea and Fountain Hills boulevards where it was reported that an unknown subject spray painted street signs causing damage.

Sunday, March 24

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of San Marcus Drive where it was reported that a vehicle lost control and struck a tree in the front yard of a residence. Upon investigating the incident deputies initiated a DUI investigation on the driver. The driver was subsequently arrested for DUI.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Almont Drive where a domestic violence assault was reported. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Monday, March 25

*A resident of the 15000 block of Thistle Drive reported that an unknown subject took items from the victim’s unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of a residence.

*Deputies responded to Palisades Boulevard and Westby Drive where a vehicle struck a building in a private parking lot.

*Deputies responded to Grande Boulevard and Del Cambre Avenue where a traffic collision was reported after a driver failed to yield and made an unsafe turn causing the vehicle to strike another vehicle. Minor injuries were reported. Vehicles were towed from the scene.

Tuesday, March 26

*Deputies responded to Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards for a reported private property traffic collision. A vehicle struck another vehicle in the parking lot of a business. No injuries were reported. No vehicles were towed from the scene.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Ocotillo Drive reported that an unknown subject attempted to open a credit account in the victim’s name without their permission.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business.
