Fountain Hills Community Chorus invites prospective members to attend a rehearsal at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18 or Sept. 25, in the Pima and Hopi Rooms in the Community Center.
Male vocalists are especially desired. Rehearsals last until 8:30 p.m. Dues are $40 for the season session.
The chorus will be preparing for its holiday con cert, “A Season of Peace & Harmony,” at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, and 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4.
Matthew Frable directs the Fountain Hills Community Chorus and San Tan Chorale.
The choir’s next international tour will be to Spain and possibly an extension to Portugal in June 2019. Musicians are invited to join the vocalists and guests.
Frable, who also is artistic director and founder of San Tan Performing Arts, has formed a new branch, San Tan Travelers.
The group will take a theatrical appreciation trip to London June 4-11, 2018. Participants will include community choir members, instrumentalists, Seton Catholic Preparatory School students where Frable is chair of the fine arts department, and guests.
Information about the San Tan Travelers can be obtained at travelers@stcpa.org.
