Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, April 11, through Wednesday, April 17.

Thursday, April 11

*A resident of the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. reported that a subject made a harassing phone call.

Friday, April 12

*A resident of the 15000 block of Sycamore Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information in an attempt to sell his residential property.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Blvd. at Ledferd Lane where the driver was traveling 60 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35.  A check of records revealed the driver was driving on a suspended license. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of El Sobrante Ave. where it was reported that a resident’s pet dog bit the owner. The owner was provided with information on contacting Animal Control to surrender the animal.

*Deputies responded to Shea and Saguaro boulevards for a reported traffic collision. The crash occurred after a motorist failed to yield while making a left turn at the intersection. No injuries were reported. The vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Rosita Drive where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. Charges were submitted to the town attorney.

Sunday, April 14

*Deputies responded to Avenue of the Fountains and Saguaro Boulevard where it was reported that an unknown subject had shot a stop sign at the intersection.

Monday, April 15

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject shoplifted items from a business resulting in approximately $1,400 in loss.

*Deputies responded to the intersection of Nicklaus and Nelson drives where a single vehicle collision occurred when a driver lost control of their vehicle and hit a boulder in the front yard of a residence. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed.

*Deputies responded to Stone View Trail and Eagle Ridge Drive where a single vehicle collision occurred when a driver lost control of their vehicle and the vehicle rolled over. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed.

*A resident of the 13000 block of Cambria Drive reported that an unknown subject took an American flag from a residence.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of La Montana Drive where it was reported a subject known to be formally trespassed from a commercial property was seen trespassing on the property.

Tuesday, April 16

*A resident of the 15000 block of Kim Drive reported that an unknown subject took items from the victim’s residence.

*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and La Montana Drive for a traffic collision after a vehicle failed to yield while making a left turn. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Cholla Drive reported that an unknown subject utilized a fraudulent scheme to obtain personal information from the victim.

Wednesday, April 17

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Boulevard at Monterey Drive where the motorist was traveling 52 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. A check of records revealed that the driver was driving on a suspended license. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
