The annual Eggstravaganza will take place at Golden Eagle Park this Saturday, March 26. This family event is hosted by the town Community Services Department with main sponsorship by Joe and Carol Goyena with MCO Realty.

The event will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. and is open to children up to seven years old, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Watch as hundreds of kids scramble to pick up over 15,000 eggs stuffed with candy and other prizes. Don’t forget to bring a basket to pick up eggs.

Arrive early as the “main event” starts promptly at 9 a.m. Hoppy Bunny will serve as Master of Ceremonies and will be available for hugs and pictures throughout the event. Peeps the Chicken will join Hoppy Bunny again this year to hang out with kids and take photos.

The Town of Fountain Hills would like to “egg-stend” its appreciation to the Goyenas for proudly supporting this event, as well as Republic Services.

The Kiwanians will be at the park again this year for their popular pancake breakfast” Get to the park early and have a hearty breakfast before the main event. Breakfast will be served beginning at 8 a.m. and continue through the event until at least 10 a.m.

You can also visit with the Fountain Hills Fire Department, which will have trucks to climb on and firefighters to show the kids their gear. No event would be complete without inflatable bouncers to play on and cookies to eat, courtesy of McDowell Mountain Community Church, as well as other fun crafts by the Fountain Hills Library and Christ Church.
