Just because school is back in session does not mean that the summer fun has to end. The Town of Fountain Hills Community Services Department and the Fountain Hills Coalition invites locals to drop by Four Peaks Park for the third annual, free, Back 2 School Bash family event.

The Back 2 School Bash will be Friday, Aug. 24, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Featured activities include water slides, inflatable games, yard games, music, food trucks and much more. Have you ever wanted to dunk your teacher? Here is your chance to try and soak your favorite teacher in the Back 2 School Bash dunk tank.

The Back 2 School Bash will also include:

*Food trucks.

*Local favorite Fountain Hills Water and Ice will be cooking up fresh-made kettle corn and serving ice-cold Italian Ice.

*A special appearance will be made by Rural Metro Fire Department featuring a demo fire truck for kids to explore.

*Thrivent Financial will be on-site producing safety ID cards for children to take home.

*An MCSO patrol vehicle for kids to check out along with several pieces of equipment and gear.

*Fountain Hills Coalition will be on site providing information about the Safe Homes Network and giving away prizes.

Bring swim suits and friends for an evening of fun and games in the park. Enjoy this opportunity for the community to gather in a social setting for a night of good old-fashioned family fun.

Just in time for the opening of all fall and winter recreation classes, the Town of Fountain Hills will have several program demos going from its upcoming classes. See the “In the Loop” publication for a listing of all fall/winter classes set to hit homes on Aug. 16.

Parking is limited and it is recommended that patrons first park in the Four Peaks north field parking lot. Overflow parking will be available along Del Cambre Avenue.

Organizers would like to thank their sponsors including the Fountain Hills Coalition, Launch Real Estate, Bay Equity Home Loans, and Thrivent Financial for their contributions.
