Dust pollution advisory extended

Posted

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has extended a High Pollution Advisory to Friday, June 15, for PM-10 particulate pollution.

Winds in the forecast are expected to increase particulate dust in the air to exceed air quality standards. Those with respiratory problems are urged to avoid exertion for the day.

The advisory also triggers county regulations related to wood burning fires, commercial leaf blowers and off-road vehicles.
