Ginny Dickey to host series of 'Town Talks'

Ginny Dickey, candidate for Mayor of Fountain Hills, will hold four sessions of “Town Talk Tuesdays with Ginny” to discuss key issues facing our community.

Each session will feature a different primary topic, and each session will include an open Q&A with Dickey to field and address residents’ ideas and comments about the town.

Town Talk Tuesdays with Ginny will be on the second Tuesday of the month in February, March, April and May, 2018. Each will be held at the Fountain Hills Community Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The Fountain Hills mayoral election will likely be decided on Aug. 28, 2018, along with several town council seats. It is also the Primary Election for all members of the Arizona Legislature, all statewide elected positions including Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Superintendent of Public Instruction and others, and all members of Arizona’s delegation to the US House of Representatives. Retiring US Senator Jeff Flake’s seat will also be contested, and there could be other ballot issues and elections.

The dates for Town Talk Tuesdays with Ginny – and primary topics – are:

*Feb. 13, 2018: Why Ginny? A shared vision for our community.

*March 13, 2018: The role of mayor/council, the town manager and staff.

*April 10, 2018: How to vote by mail – what to do and when (it may be complicated!).

* May 8, 2018: Building strong partnerships in and around our town.

Anyone interested in these topics and those who have questions to present to Dickey should plan on attending. Light refreshments will be provided.
