On Sept. 22, the Fountain Hills High School Athletic Department is holding a golf tournament at Desert Canyon Golf Course to raise money for high school athletics.

Registration costs are $100 per single golfer and $400 for a team. Price includes range balls, golf cart, awards and lunch. Mulligans can be purchased during registration for $15 each. Additional lunch meals are $20 for extra guests. Proceeds will benefit all high school athletics programs.

Check-in for the event is at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. The format of play is a four-golfer scramble. Women will tee off from the red tees, men tee off from the gold tees and continue with that format for the 18 holes. All players then play their next shot from the position of the selected best shot.

To register, email mtrimble@fhacademics.org. For any questions, contact Athletic Director Willie Dudley at 480-664-5539. Participants are encouraged to register by Sept. 17, though walk-ins during the morning of the tournament will be accepted.
