Health Watch for ozone Wednesday

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has health watch for ozone pollution in Maricopa County for Wednesday, May 23.

This health watch is due to ozone levels expected to approach the federal health standard. ADEQ is projecting that the health watch may be extended for Thursday and Friday.

People most affected by ozone include children, senior citizens, people who work or exercise outdoors and people with pre-existing respiratory disease.
