Bidding for PTO gala also open to those who can't attend

The Fountain Hills Unified School District PTO is gearing up for its 15th annual Gala fundraiser, set to be hosted out of the We-Ko-Pa Resort and Conference Center this Saturday, Feb. 24, from 6 to 11 p.m.
This year’s theme is “Saturday Night Fever in the Hills.” However, organizers want to make sure everyone knows that they are able to take part in the fundraising process even if they don’t attend the actual event.
This year features the group’s first jump into the world of online bidding. Upon registration, participants will receive a link on their phone to their bid page. From there, they will be able to bid on a wide variety of items which will be updated regularly. Bidding is available now and does not require attendance to take part. Simply head to fountainhills.auction-bid.org to get started.
Along with local services and items provided by Fountain Hills businesses, items up for bid include things like front row graduation seats, VIP treatment for sporting events, baskets created by various classes and more.
This new process will also allow the PTO to streamline checkout the night of the gala, with participants able to pay directly from their phone and have their receipt emailed to them.
