School board meets tonight
Posted
The Fountain Hills unified School District Governing Board will consider a revision to the extracurricular fees schedule for Fountain Hills Middle School and Fountain Hills High School at the meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tonight, Sept. 13, in the District Learning Center. This meeting is open to the public.
The proposed changes include everything from adjustments to existing fees to the inclusion of several new extracurricular programs on the fee list. This will be a discussion item, though, so no action will take place.
Preceding the information/discussion items will be a consent agenda including 10 policy revisions. Revisions range from board member qualifications and bus driver requirements to open enrollment and support staff qualifications. These policies were seen by the board and available for discussion during the Aug. 23 meeting.
Only one item will make up the action agenda, and that is a proposed extracurricular trip for Fountain Hills Middle School students to attend AstroCamp later this year.
