Lee Steingart

Lee Steingart, 84, passed away peacefully on Nov. 12, 2017 in Scottsdale. Lee was a Catholic woman of deep faith who devoted her life to her family. She was born near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on March 9, 1933.

On Nov. 24, 1956 she married John Steingart and in 1964 they moved their young family to the United States. They resided in Wheaton Ill., Hastings Minn., Fountain Hills and lastly Scottsdale.

While raising three active boys Lee managed to become an accomplished golfer, bridge player, curler (shuffle board on ice) and knitter.

Her family was her pride and joy and the greatest blessing of her life. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, John; three sons, David Steingart of Edina Minn., Bruce Steingart of Eau Claire Wis. and Kevin Steingart of San Antonio Texas; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and her brother, Tony Pulak of Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at the Church of the Ascension, 12615 N. Fountain Hills Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. A private (family-only) commitment will immediately follow the funeral service.
