Robert Joseph Bolan, of Fountain Hills, died June 20, 2018. He was born July 30, 1934 in New York City.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. When he was discharged he worked as a chemical engineer from 1958 until 1972 with Messer in New York.
Moving to Tempe, Ariz. in 1973, Bolan worked as a broker with Merrill Lynch until he retired in 1999. He and his wife, Inge, moved to Fountain Hills in 1980.
He will be remembered as a good, loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Inge; son, Jeffry, daughters Krista Richman (Noah) and Diane Reppazzo; grandchildren, Leah, Jonah and Mika and great grandsons, Will and Alex Auston.
Services will be held Friday, Oct. 12, at 9:30 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
