Valente Monclova Ortiz, 71, born Feb. 21, 1947, passed away on Sept. 10, 2018 at his home in Fountain Hills.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia; six children, John, Monica, Valente Jr., Allicia, David and Daniel; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of a formal funeral, a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 17319 E. Caliente Dr. in Fountain Hills from 12 to 4 p.m.
