Quality education

Posted

We are angry. Many of us are furious our town spent over $38,000 on a frivolous study for the frivolous lagoon project. We want our town to stand for something meaningful. Let Fountain Hills be known as the education town, not the carnival town.

Quality education is a worthy goal in and by itself for it secures our youths’ future. Yet, education has the added benefit of making Fountain Hills a more attractive place to live, thus helping its financial solvency.

Learn about our schools’ accomplishments and aspirations. On Oct. 12, Dr. Patrick Sweeney, Wendy Barnard and Denise Weinreich will be speaking about education in our community. This event is hosted by the FH Democratic Club at the Community Center, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Then, through the mail-in ballot this October, vote yes for education. Vote yes for the FHUSD Maintenance and Operations override. Let’s make Fountain Hills the education town.
