Vote yes

Fountain Hills Schools are a most important resource for our community. Long before town incorporation, it was our schools that brought life to our community, and how our community was viewed. It remains the same today.

And, because so many residents recognize its importance, the district has enjoyed tremendous support, and success. Again this fall, residents will be asked to sustain our schools by voting “yes” for a maintenance and operations override that will extend the current one. The override does just that; it provides additional local funds to only our schools above and beyond the state student formula.

As former School Board members, watching our three kids complete K-12 in Fountain Hills and graduate to go on to successful careers, and seeing how our schools can define our community, we believe the importance of this yes vote is critical to the FHUSD and our town’s future. It will provide additional funding each year to our schools throughout this decade and beyond.

We encourage you to vote yes Nov. 7 (or by mail-in ballot) to continue this tradition!
