The following are results for the first place finishers in each division for the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in Fountain Hills. There were 2,327 participants, a new record number for the race, which included the 5K run and a one-mile fun walk.
The men are listed first with their age, and they appear in the order in which they finished the race.
Alan Hagerman (18), Flagstaff; Scott Jarriel (22), Fountain Hills; Ryan Wilbur (32) Fountain Hills (these men were the top three overall finishers in the race); Joh Spano (42) Gilbert; Neal Palles (50) Longmont, Colo.; Ethan Davidson (12) Fountain Hills; Ed Rabbit (63) Fountain Hills; Jack Amdahl (8) Fountain Hills; and Dave Beracy (71) Fountain Hills.
The top women finishers in each division are as follows:
Sophie Shunk (26) Fountain Hills; Hope Brecto (19) Fountain Hills; Amanda Ross (36) Scottsdale; Ruth Busienei (41) Fountain Hills; Judi Powell (51) Rio Verde; Donna Rice (61) Scottsdale; Maureen Trager (70) Fountain Hills; and Mary Ellen Prosper (81) Fountain Hills.
