The only thing small square footage, high-rent Four Peaks Plaza tenements is likely to bring to our town is more tenements. Once the variance is enacted and Target leaves, there will be no other logical use for the property, a la Paradise Valley and other shopping centers around the state.
Since when is it the responsibility of a town to bail out a developer without any quid pro quo? That property has the value of location, location, location. How about a high-end resort that would bring some cash, class and jobs to our "Jewel in the Desert?”
