Somo: Peggy McMahon has a proven leadership record

Posted

When my husband and I moved to Fountain Hills four years ago, I was pleased to find a well-run small town due to visionary, responsible leadership from our mayor and Town Council.

While Mayor Ginny Dickey provided consistent, expert guidance, Councilmember Peggy McMahon played a key role in ensuring that our town continued to move forward and met the needs of residents. Peggy is always thoroughly prepared for her duties because she takes the time to study the information and then provides thoughtful, fact-based discussion and decisions on every issue that comes before the council. This type of proven leadership and decision-making is invaluable to our community, and it must continue for our town to thrive.

Peggy McMahon is a completely selfless, forward-looking leader who is dedicated to making our community the best that it can be. She dedicates herself to serving the needs of her constituents, not only through her work on Town Council, but also through serving on numerous county and community boards and commissions.

Honesty, integrity, hard-working, intelligent, friendly, personable and a willing listener are all descriptors that come to mind when I think about Peggy McMahon. She is the personification of the type of Town Council member that we should all want to continue to represent us in such an important role in our town.
