KBRP Community Media and Safeway are proud to present the 10th annual Bisbee Blues Festival and Bisbee Blues Village over the weekend of September 12-14, 2014.

Performances throughout Bisbee venues will be free on Friday, September 12.

Seven bands have been secured to perform on Saturday, September 13, including headliner Zac Harmon, Bob Corritore and Dave Riley, CW Ayon, The Sugar Thieves, Cat Daddy and the 12 Barz Blues Band, Train Wreck, and Buzz and the Soul Senders. The Bisbee Blues Festival will take place at City Park in Old Bisbee from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased online (www.bisbeebluesfoundation.com) or at select retailers in Bisbee, Tucson and Phoenix.

New this year is the Blues Village, a free event that will take place at Central School Project on Sunday, September 14. Activities for families will be available and workshops on singing, song-writing, instrument making and recording will be featured. The event will also include an exhibit entitled, “What Came Before: 10 Years of the Bisbee Blues Festival,” which will feature art and photographs from previous festivals. Live performances will happen throughout the day and non-profit vendors will be on-hand, providing food and beverage.
