Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation’s H’man Shawa ECDC Child Care Center was the site of 21 local high school graduates, mostly Fountain Hills High grads-to-be, being recognized in a May 14 ceremony.
Dr. Vicky Corlett, the education director, introduced the Class of 2026 after the seniors had gone through hallways of the center and high-fived or been greeted by the kindergarten-or-younger-age occupants.
The nation boasts a 94% graduation rate, officials stated, and Fountain Hills High School states the rate is 100% the past two years for FYMN students.
