In celebration of its thirtieth anniversary season, Fountain Hills Theater is proud to announce the opening of 30 Years – The Show!, a high-energy, multi-media musical retrospective of Fountain Hills Theater’s extraordinary 30-year history.
The theater began as the brainchild of Sandi McGee in 1986 with a three-show season performed at McDowell Elementary School. In the intervening years, through the efforts of an army of volunteers and a dedicated staff headed by Val Stasik, the Fountain Hills Theater has grown to be one of the most respected non-professional theaters in the Valley with literally hundreds of ‘Best of” nominations and wins.
Author and director Peter J. Hill promises an exciting musical evening that he claims will showcase – however briefly – at least one song from each of the over 100 musicals presented by the theater since they began in 1986. Big shows like Cats and Miss Saigon, as well as smaller productions such as Fantasticks, I Do, I Do and even the half dozen world premier musicals will all be represented.
