The third annual Feathers & Flapjacks 5K & Fun Run will be held by Fountain Hills PTO for the Fountain Hills community on Saturday, Jan. 11. Fountain Hills schools will receive a portion of all registration fees.

PTO is hosting an exciting day of working out, connecting with others and Falcon passion. The FHUSD PTO will serve a pancake brunch in the McDowell Mountain elementary school cafeteria after the 5K & Fun Run. At precisely 8 a.m., the 5K will begin, followed by a one-mile walk. Four laps (1 mile) around the track will make up the Fun Run.

Race packets will be available for pickup by runners at the McDowell Mountain Elementary School front office from 5 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 10, the night before the race. A special event t-shirt will be given to every runner who registers before Jan. 3. After that date, t-shirts will be distributed based on availability.
Additionally, on race day, competitors can pick up their packets at any time after 6 a.m. The largest team to compete and the top three finishers in each age group will each receive honorary medalz.
