OPINION — Art is Alive and well in Fountain Hills. I hope everyone had a chance to get out and appreciate the Fountain Hills Art League tour. I was blown away by the talent.
The tour showcased the depth and range of Fountain Hills artists throughout our community. Clever welding, vibrant painting, intricate fiber arts and so many other mediums were represented. Artists invited us into their homes and studios, sharing where and how they make the magic happen. Others were set up in local businesses, bringing vibrancy into the downtown – and one opportunity to peruse art while also enjoying a scoop of ice cream!
I especially enjoyed the conversations I was able to have with artists. Getting insight into what inspires them and how they came to their art really makes the pieces come to life for the audience.
