Orban presided over Hungary for 16 years. His relentless attacks on free speech, demonization of the gay community, hateful rhetoric used to stigmatize minorities, and his success at dismantling the government's checks and balances all eventually ended his hold of power.
Citizens here in the United States watching our democracy erode are celebrating! They see firsthand some of the same infringements on our Constitution, and attacks on our citizens.
