Abortion II

Fifty million of anything is a difficult amount to wrap one’s mind around. And 50 million fetuses succumbing to human selected abortion is exceedingly troubling and almost impossible to comprehend.

Institutionalized human selected abortions, put in place, made possible the very large numbers. Is this an intrusion by the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court into matters pertaining to God? Or so-called privilege granted by seven men (two opposed) to U.S. women?

In both the spiritual former and the material latter, it is undeniable that it is a terrible sight.

By analogy: A person expressing an innate facility to do so builds a grandfather clock from scratch. Gathers all the parts; face, hands, gears, etc. All the unassembled parts waiting for construction. With days and weeks of building, the clock yet unfinished, a moment of despair overcomes the builder.

Instead of continuing construction, the clock builder throws a pin-pulled live hand grenade into the unfinished clock. Yes, irrational, but why? Irrationality must always be confronted by “why.”

Limbus Infantum and Saint Thomas Aquinas (Q.V.) are here paraphrased: The unbaptized by omission are deprived of seeing god.

Pray, and continue to pray for the torn and unwanted fetuses never even given a chance at becoming. Amen.
