I was not happy to hear of the disappearance of campaign signs from the Miles’ home. I, like most citizens, want to see a fair election with issue being discussed so people can make an informed choice.
Mr. Miles apparently doesn’t know who stole the signs or he would have provided the information to MCSO so they could do the appropriate investigation and potential arrest. However, he decided to accuse the opponent’s campaign without couching the accusation in any way. There are several different reasons the signs may be gone.
But I was surprised and more than a little disappointed that Mr. Miles, whose professional career was/is as a lawyer and officer of the court, choose, without providing any evidence, to accuse the other candidate’s campaign.

Because Mr. Miles chose to make the accusation, without providing any evidence, I felt it wasn’t appropriate to just let his accusation stand.
Please try to attend the debates or read the articles in The Times to understand each candidate’s position so you can make an informed choice. Unsubstantiated accusations shouldn’t be a part of this election.
