The annual Town of Fountain Hills Activity and Volunteer Expo will be held today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Community Center.

This event will showcase the various programs, support groups, classes and special presentations offered throughout the year by the Activity Center.

Attendees will have an opportunity to interact and mingle directly with activity group coordinators, ask questions and learn about the variety of programs. The event will also host approximately 30 organizations and clubs including the faith community. There will be tables with information as well as representatives ready to answer questions about their activity or organization.

Everyone is invited to come out and learn about the many volunteer opportunities available here in Fountain Hills.

This is a good time for residents to renew their Activity Center membership or join for the first time. Members are entitled to attend all activities. Membership is on a calendar year basis. The fee is $20 for Fountain Hills residents and winter visitors. Others may join for a $30 non-resident fee. This includes The Verdes, Scottsdale, Mesa and beyond. Membership is open to all adults 18 years of age and older.

Light refreshments will be provided at the Expo.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages welcome.

The center thanks Fountain View Village for its event sponsorship.
