The Adero Canyon subdivision proposals will not be going back to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a revisit, but instead will go directly to the Town Council after 60 days.
On Feb. 13, the commission’s 3-3 deadlock killed a motion to approve a master plat amendment, PAD proposal and minor General Plan amendment requested for the parcel.
Town Attorney Andrew McGuire said the P&Z motion also should have included the reasons to support the vote, which it did not.

Adero Canyon plan to council in April

The Adero Canyon subdivision proposals will not be going back to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a revisit, but instead will go directly to the Town Council after 60 days.
On Feb. 13, the commission’s 3-3 deadlock killed a motion to approve a master plat amendment, PAD proposal and minor General Plan amendment requested for the parcel.
Town Attorney Andrew McGuire said the P&Z motion also should have included the reasons to support the vote, which it did not.
MCO Properties was given the option of going back to P&Z for recommendation when there was a full seven-member commission present, or going directly to the Town Council after a 60-day period called for by the ordinance.
McGuire said they chose to go directly to the council.
The discussion is now tentatively scheduled for the second council meeting in April, which would be Thursday, April 16.
The meeting will include a public hearing prior to discussion and vote on the requests.
