Thirty-two years in Fountain Hills and I continue to see significant positive change in the ensuing years ahead. Along with in-house fire protection, perhaps we shall see in-house police protection also. It could be accomplished cost-effectively by controlling the purse and starting (and staying) modest in size.
I commend and thank the Town Council for its decision to promote Rachel Goodwin to town manager. An excellent choice. Promotion from within has always made sense to me and, by so doing, gives the person an opportunity to grow in capabilities.
No doubt Fountain Hills will continue to grow.

It should be said that the office of town manager should be non-politically aligned. Only the well-being of the town is important.
