The First Baptist Church of Fountain Hills has announced its summer Vacation Bible School program – “Agency D3.”

“D3” stands for discover, decide and defend, based on 1 Peter 3:15 – “But honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.”

The VBS is for children ages four years through fifth grade.

It will be held June 1 through 6 from 6 to 8:45 p.m. “Family Night” will be held June 6 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Unlike previous VBS programs, this year’s “Agency D3” will allow children to use their best high-tech operative skills to examine eyewitness reports, physical proof and biblical accounts to uncover and defend the truth about who Jesus really is.

“This year the kids are encouraged to take a hard look at the truths of the Bible and then learn how to defend what they believe in an ever-changing world about who Jesus really is,” said Pastor Tony Pierce.

To register a child, visit the church website at www.fbcfh.org and follow the Agency D3 VBS 2014 prompts. Parents will need to register their children as a “participant.”

First Baptist does not charge for its VBS, so families are encouraged to sign up neighbors and friends as well.

The church is located at 10215 N. Saguaro Blvd. Information is available at 837-3374, ext. 1.
