Dust is the concern with the PM 10 particulate pollution expected to approach maximum federal air quality standards on Friday.

People with respiratory ailments as well as young children and elderly are urged to avoid exertion and stay indoors if possible.

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has issued a health watch for air quality for Friday, Feb. 9.

Dust is the concern with the PM 10 particulate pollution expected to approach maximum federal air quality standards on Friday.

People with respiratory ailments as well as young children and elderly are urged to avoid exertion and stay indoors if possible.

The air quality alert does trigger Maricopa County regulations restricting wood burning and commercial landscape blower use.
