Air quality health watch for Friday

ADEQ has issued a health watch for particulate air pollution for Friday, Dec. 12.

Conditions are right to expect air quality to approach the federal standard for unhealthful conditions.

The watch triggers the “no burn day” requirements for open fires as well as use of commercial dust blowing equipment.

Those with respiratory problems are urged to avoid exertion and remain indoors during these air quality conditions.
