Air quality health watch Tuesday

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has issued a Health Watch for PM-10 particulate pollution for Tuesday, May 6.

PM-10 are tiny particulates of dust and smoke mixed with water droplets circulating in the air that can cause respiratory problems for those with chronic breathing issues. Those individuals should avoid strenuous outdoor activity during the health watch.

The particulate health watch also triggers the Maricopa County "no burn" restrictions.
