The man in the White House needs to learn that you accomplish more when you are kind and considerate of your neighbors on the North American continent. He has alienated Canada and Mexico, and he is now sending armed soldiers to the border to deter a few unarmed, hungry, desperate asylum seekers from countries that are falling apart.

Central American countries are our neighbors, too. Five or six thousand American soldiers in Central America could help clean up the gang and drug problem there. Let’s help those countries solve their problems so their citizens don’t want to leave and come to a place where they will be put in cages and their children will be taken away.

If we alienate our neighbors, our enemies – the Russians and Chinese – will be happy to befriend collapsing Central American countries in order to gain a foothold on the North American continent and threaten the U.S.A.
