As I recuperate at my daughter’s house from a very unexpected heart surgery, I want to thank openly some of my fellow residents of Fountain Hills for reaching out to me during my time of need.
As for naming each and every one of you individually, some I know, some I don’t, who sent prayers, good wishes, dinners, gifts and lots of love and visits to cheer me up, I probably would surpass the allotted words for a “Letter to the Editor.”
I can’t thank the Fountain Hills Chamber enough for all their support throughout my ordeal.

Just know that all these things make for a speedier and more pleasant recovery.
There is one special thanks in addition to my loving family, and that is a Fountain Hills resident who herself has been through a major illness but through her selflessness took charge with my daughter and handled restructuring some personal situations.
Hugs and love to all! You are an amazing community, Fountain Hills.
