Anne “Nana” Nangle, 94, passed away on June 23, 2017 at home with family in Fountain Hills.
Services will be held Sunday, July 9 at 1 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 16150 E El Lago Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268.
Anne was born in Philadelphia, Pa. to Arthur and Martha Kuck on Aug. 16, 1922. She enjoyed working as a supervisor for Donuts Galore in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for over 30 years.
She was involved with the Eastern Star from the 1960’s until the early 1990’s before she moved to Arizona. She enjoyed hearing stories about and helping out her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with their school, Boy Scouts, and sporting activities. Even in her last months, she would Facebook, Facetime and text back and forth with them about their activities.
Anne loved to travel. She saw 47 of the 50 states - all by car. She got to see her 48th state when she was 92 (Alaska). She has one more cross-country trip to make to arrive at her final resting place back in South Jersey- her favorite place.
Anne is preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Kuck, Jr.
Anne is survived by her two sons, Patrick Nangle (Sheri), Robert Dill (Charlene); four grandchildren, Rob Dill (Cheryl), Kara Cornaglia (Mike), Savannah Nangle, and Sean Nangle; and four great-grandchildren, Jesse Cornaglia, Olivia Cornaglia, Nick Dill and Ryan Dill.
