I have been receiving these unwelcomed phone calls on an average of perhaps eight or nine a week for the past five or six years.
Calls wanting to sell me something, invest in something, or fix something that does not need fixing. Finally I turned these calls into a game and now I welcome all these calls.
After they do their spiel and get down to the nitty gritty, like my personal information, I tell them why don’t you leave me your home telephone number and I will call you at home in the morning.

Or when they ask for me by name I will answer, he went to the outhouse an hour ago and the hogs must have ate him. Sometimes I put on a foreign accent and tell them in broken English, “No speak English.”
They immediately hang up. I am a 91-year-old disabled WW II vet and this keeps my mind going and alert and I look forward to these calls. Keep ‘em coming as I enjoy the game.
