Anthony “Tony” Robert DiNaso Sr., 90, of Schererville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026. Born to Charles and Mary DiNaso, Tony was raised with strong faith and family values. As a young man, he served as an altar boy planning to study for the priesthood before meeting the one and only love of his life, Joyce Alyce Grant. Their love story became the heart of a wonderful life together. They married and shared 45 years of devotion, friendship and unwavering love until Joyce’s passing in 2000. Together, Tony and Joyce raised six children while making homes in the suburbs of Chicago before moving to Fountain Hills in the late 70’s. Their home was always filled with family, friends, laughter and love. They formed lasting friendships wherever they lived. A talented carpenter and entrepreneur, Tony earned the respect of many through his craftmanship and strong work ethic. Tony will be remembered for his faith, joyful spirit, kind heart, gentle nature and deep love for his family. A devoted sports fan, he proudly cheered for the Phoenix Suns while remaining a loyal supporter of the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Blackhawks. Tony was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce, and his beloved son, Tony Jr. He is survived by his children, Debbie Petrick, Joseph DiNaso, Michael DiNaso and his wife Karen, Christine DiNaso and Nicholas DiNaso and many grandchildren and great and great-great grandchildren; his loving brothers, James DiNaso and Charles DiNaso and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A private Celebration of Life was held by family.
