I am intrigued by the many actions that American voters will suggest to avoid gun control and in some cases the cure appears to be worse than the original problem.
The suggestion by Harris Deitch to turn all gathering places into armed fortresses is appalling and it is not a view that would comfort me and make me feel safe. It suggests that we live in dictatorship and not a free country.
I would prefer to see the funds that this would take be used for effective gun control laws, as are used in other countries, improved education and medical care for all.
