The Fountain Hills Republican Club will be holding its annual picnic and 2016 Election Rally on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fountain Hills Community Center. The grilling will be outside on the rear patio. Seating and the program will be inside the air conditioned venue.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be the keynote speaker. Representatives from the Arizona Trump for President campaign will also be on hand to distribute campaign material.

Arpaio has been a strong supporter for Presidential Candidate Donald J.Trump, appearing at several rallies including one in Fountain Hills. He also served as a voting delegate to the Republican National Committee Convention in Cleveland, OH. Other program participants will be elected GOP officials and GOP candidates in the November election.

Reservations are recommended for this very popular event. The cost is $20 for members with advanced reservations and payment; $25 for non-members and all those paying at the event. Children 12 and under are free. The food catered by the Saddle Bronc Grill will include hamburgers, cheeseburgers, brats, grilled chicken breasts, potato salad, coleslaw and cherry cobbler with ice cream, soft drinks and water.
