“We are so excited Melissa accepted this new position and her willingness to jump in with both feet supporting and promoting our fellow artists and activities this upcoming season,” league President Nancy Grahlmann said.
The Fountain Hills Art League was founded in 1980. It is an organization dedicated to creating and promoting the visual arts and artists in Fountain Hills and surrounding communities.
League members meet the first Monday of each month, October through May, at the Fountain Hills Community Center. One of the league’s largest events is the annual Tour d’Artistes, a self-guided artist studio tour and sale held the first weekend of March. The purpose of the tour is to raise money for art projects in local schools.
