(Editor’s Note: This letter was originally sent to Sharon Morgan, Chamber of Commerce events producer, and forwarded for publication.)
After 43 years plus of doing outdoor art shows, sadly, this will be my last outdoor show due to health issues.
I wanted to thank you, your staff and the hundreds of volunteers that have made Fountain Hills a great show for me and hundreds of other artists.
After 20-plus years of working with the wonderful people of Fountain Hills, I can truly say it has been an honor being a part of the art community you provided for so many artists and craftsmen. I have always appreciated the fairness and professionalism that I encountered at each and every show.
The decision to end this part of my career was very hard and very emotional, but I have wonderful memories of all the friends I have made while doing your show.
I wanted to convey to you and the Fountain Hills community how much you have done for me and my career and how much your hard work is appreciated and never gone unnoticed. I will always be thankful that I was a part of this awesome event.
With tears in my eyes, I say thank you so much for including me in your “family” these many years. I will never forget your kindness.
