Ascension forms new women's group

“Come as You Are” is Church of the Ascension’s invitation to all women.
The Church formed the new group that meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
“Come as You Are” relays the idea that anyone is welcome as she is. There’s no advance studying or reading and you don’t have to have attended the previous meeting.
This spirituality program is open to all women to connect with each other in small group activities and develop a deeper connection with women of faith and, ultimately, with God.
Co-facilitators Deb Findlow of Ascension Church and Diane Owens conducted similar meetings at St. Patrick’s Church, Scottsdale, for many years.
The group meets in the conference room of Church of the Ascension, 12615 N. Fountain Hills Blvd.
