Ascension plans vacation Bible school in July

Pre-schoolers through fifth graders can participate in “Cave Quest – Following Jesus, the Light of the World” at the Church of the Ascension’s vacation Bible school.

The program is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, July 11 through 15 in the parish hall, 12615 Fountain Hills Blvd. Registration is $20 per child.

Each morning will consist of Bible-learning experiences, team-building games, Bible songs and tasty treats. Youngsters will discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life.

Ascension plans vacation Bible school in July

Pre-schoolers through fifth graders can participate in “Cave Quest – Following Jesus, the Light of the World” at the Church of the Ascension’s vacation Bible school.

The program is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, July 11 through 15 in the parish hall, 12615 Fountain Hills Blvd. Registration is $20 per child.

Each morning will consist of Bible-learning experiences, team-building games, Bible songs and tasty treats. Youngsters will discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life.

Middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adult volunteers are needed for crew and station leaders. They can earn service hours for next year while having fun.

Volunteers must attend one of the scheduled training sessions: 3 to 5 or 6 to 8 p.m., June 22; 3 to 5 or 6 to 8 p.m., June 28, or 3 to 5 p.m., June 29. There will be safe environment training from 6 to 8 p.m., June 29.
