It’s a collaborative adventure this July between Church of the Ascension and Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church as they offer a fun and educational Vacation Bible School program to the community.

This particular VBS program has received rave reviews from the churches that have already used the program, and it is now being offered to the Fountain Hills community in a different way.

The program is called “Weird Animals” and kids love crazy, weird animals...the weirder the better, right?

So, the two churches have searched the globe for the most special, unique, rare “Weird Animals” to help kids understand that God filled the world with a lot of crazy creatures ...

When kids feel weird, different, or lost in a crowd — organizers say nothing compares to the extraordinary love of Jesus to encourage, comfort and empower them to feel included and cared about.

Each day kids will participate in small groups, called Zoo Crews, and discover with their groups what Jesus’ endless love means in their lives.

“Weird Animals” is filled with unforgettable Bible-learning experiences that kids will see, hear, touch, and even taste. All-new KidVid Cinema shares real stories of real kids who rely on Jesus’ love to face life’s challenges. Plus, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats keep everyone on the move.

The new summer 2014 VBS program will begin Monday, July 7, and run through July 11 at the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church, located at 13001 N. Fountain Hills Boulevard, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon daily.

To reserve a spot, one can contact either the Presbyterian Church at 480-837-1763 or Church of the Ascension at 480-837-1066 or visit www.fhpresbyterian.info or http://ascensionfh.org on-line to register.
