Or insanity? Syria’s spawn of ISIS has caused the largest number of asylum-seekers to the U.S. in decades, and thousands more are expected.
According to the State Department, 968 Syrian refugees have been resettled in the U.S. this year alone – since March, another 1,500 Syrians have been granted asylum by DHS. By contrast, only 11 Syrians were granted asylum in 2009.
Homeland Security Counterterrorism Committee, Pete King, R-NY, warns of “lacking intelligence necessary to identify terrorist links.” He also noted “The U.S. has seen the danger of flawed refugee vetting, and the potential for radicalization once they are in the U.S.,” pointing to the Boston Bombers.

Michael McCaul R-TX, committee chair, warned Obama about accepting refugees as “Terrorists have made it known they will manipulate the refugee program to sneak operatives to the West,” noting the two Iraqi Al-Qaeda members in Bowling Green, KY, who were brought as refugees. McCaul said the White House “was vague” when describing the screen process.
In 2013 alone, latest data, 69,909 refugees were brought in from “high risk” terrorist countries of Syria, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Burma. International Rescue Commission is urging the U.S. to accept thousands more from Syria alone, noting 12.2 million need help!
Studies show that 20 percent of American Muslims support jihad – do we need to import more threats to America?
Congress gets little input and no say in the number of refugees or where they come from. Not only do we worry about terrorists coming here, we need to worry about Obama bringing them in by the thousands!
In addition, refugee status gives them immediate access to our tax dollar dependence, so we get to fund our own demise. Why are the United Nations and Obama allowed to turn America into a Muslim terrorist nation?
