Refresh my memory, wasn’t there an almost $30 million bond proposal on the ballot, a few years back, for the Saguaro makeover? The Grubers of Fountain Hills decided against that one.
Now we are going to pay $7.5 million for the makeover. Let’s see, let me get the calculator, about a 75 percent reduction in the bond cost, the voters did approve this one.

Maybe the Average Citizen does understand things like taxes, budgets, tax rates and of course spending.
(Editor’s Note: The almost $30 million bond proposal in 2011 included the Saguaro makeover and about $22 million earmarked for maintenance and major repairs on many other streets throughout Fountain Hills.)
