McDowell Mountain Elementary School hosted a day of awesome fun and loud cheers. Fountain Hills Parent Teacher Organization coordinated the Day of Awesomeness\Inflatables Event, celebrating the amazing fundraising produced by the elementary and middle school students. Fountain Hills’ elementary and middle school students got to enjoy inflatable bouncing slides, an obstacles course and basketball hoops. The McDowell Mountain Elementary School and Fountain Hills Middle School have been working with the PTO to help raise funds for educational and progressive programs.
Co-President of the PTO, Robin Bratcher talked to Fountain Hills Times Independent about the purpose of this awesome event and why PTO is beneficial to the Fountain Hills community. “PTO helps raise funds to provide educational support to teachers and students,” Bratcher said. “We help with teacher appreciations and wherever there’s an educational need we help fundraise for it.”
