AZ treasurer seeks clarity on Fountain Hills Dark Sky Center

Related to state budget appropriation

Arizona State Treasurer Kimberly Yee has reached out to the International Dark Sky Discovery Center (IDSDC) seeking information on the project as it relates to state funding that has been allocated for the facility.

She has made a similar request to Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff related to funding for that facility.

IDSDC President Joe Bill told The Times Independent there is no issue with the state appropriation for the project which is scheduled to break ground in March 2024.
